The best place to stay in Medellín

Aspectos positivos: I searched through hundreds of listings and believe I found the absolute best, most perfect place in Medellín. The pictures are accurate and the directions/instructions for accessing the key were also accurate. The host from next door, Marina, greeted me when I arrived and helped me get settled in, and brought over delicious breakfasts each morning. I LOVED having an upstairs and downstairs and it felt like a home away from home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the hot water in the shower worked almost immediately, and there were blackout curtains to help me sleep. The wifi speed was incredibly fast (about 250 mbps) with no interruptions. The place is on a residential street so there is a bit of noise from neighbours, but no clubs or bars so overall peaceful and quiet. This place was easily the best part of my trip.

Aspectos negativos: Sometimes the shower water went from hot to cold and then back to hot again.

A friendly place to stay in Medellín

Aspectos positivos: The house was in a quiet and nice area, 5'driving from restaurants and cafes. The owners were very friendly and willing to help. The house is well equipped, clean and tidy.

Aspectos negativos: The bathroom is extremely small, and the ventilation is done from an opening in the wall that connects the bathroom/toilet with the house. For the payment, I was asked to pay an extra 3,99% because I paid with a card.

Aspectos positivos: The owner family treated us like her family member. They showed us how the Colombians are kind to foreigners. It introduced a good tour company and advised us a nice tour program. An uncle and his daughter were kind enough to extend us touring services. It was so nice that we could experience how the ordinary people in Medelline live vividly. Thank you for the owner family's hospitality during our stay.

Everything met our expectations and we were very satisfied.

Aspectos positivos: Apartment in a very safe and clean part of Medellin. Very clean accommodation with all listed amenities. Host was also very nice.

Very clean with a great host

Aspectos positivos: Clean, comfortable mini apartment in a nice area. Isabel the host is extremely kind and helpful, there were many additional touches she included which were great for my stay.

Great apartment, good value for money, but noisy early in the morning

Aspectos positivos: Good location and ten minute walk to Rosales metro station. Great facilities including washing machine (which was an unexpected bonus). The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

Aspectos negativos: Very noisy in the morning from 5.30am with cars as people going to work and also with loud noise from the airport with planes taking off and landing every 15 minutes from 6am. Stairs to bedroom very steep and not suitable for elderly or families with young children.

Aspectos positivos: Really nice place with, a really good owner and family :) They help a lot. Flat is perfect for two people, with nice tarrace and in a safe area. Big recommendation!

Aspectos positivos: Me gustó el lugar muy bonito y acogedor, limpio, ordenado, tranquilo, sin embargo, lo que más valore fue la atención de la Sra. Marina, quien fue muy cariñosa y atenta en todo momento.

Aspectos positivos: Las personas que estuvieron pendientes la señora Marina fue espectacular. Muy amable.
