Aspectos positivos: kitchen was great. Staff is super friendly and speaks english

Aspectos negativos: dorms are pretty small. My bed wasn’t very comfortable

Calm and leafy hostel stay

Aspectos positivos: Comfy and private beds, good kitchen, and several spots to chill or hang out.

Aspectos negativos: The bathrooms are a mixed bag in terms of cleanliness, frequency of restocking, and water pressure, but not awful!

Aspectos positivos: This accommodation was perfectly located and the staff has been absolutely amazing and super helpful!

Aspectos negativos: There are some things which needs some maintenance especially in the bathroom

3 nights in Laureles

Aspectos positivos: Nice hostel with all you need. Kitchen, laundry service, warm showers, and nice staff.

Aspectos positivos: The staff at this hostel were incredibly friendly. I mean, hostel staff are usually friendly (in most cases, anyway), but these people were all just fantastic. They were also proactive in asking for things you might need or want before you even thought about needing them. And they were fun to just casually chat with while waiting for your food to cook.

Aspectos negativos: Nothing really. I guess if you have to do video calls for work like I did, you have to consider the street traffic is super loud (e.g. men selling fruit, tons of loud motorbike engines, cars honking horns, party buses that start around 6pm, etc.). Those are not the fault of the hostel, but something to keep in mind if you need silence when you work, read, etc.

Aspectos positivos: Overall I had a good time staying in Baku Hostel. The staff was super friendly and helpfully, they made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The kitchen was always clean and tidy, and they cleaned the common rooms everyday. The location is terrific, the hostel is close to everything and there are so many wonderful restaurants literally next to it.

Aspectos negativos: I really didn't like the rooms, it felt like we were sleeping in shoe boxes. There were no windows and everything felt so dark and without oxygen. There was space to keep our things in cupboards underneath the bed, but there wasn't a self to keep things close to the bed. A recommendation I would leave would be for the hostel to have some composting service. Medellin has composting stations everywhere, so I was surprised to see they didn't have a bin for collecting food scraps and organics. The other thing I would recommend, is for the toilets to have a toilet brush so that people can clean up after themselves and not have to wait for the cleaning service to clean up for them.

Aspectos positivos: Great vibe at this hostel! A great hostal to meet other travellers. there was always someone to talk to, to hangout with, to go partying with. I never felt bored or alone. The staff were amazing! Very accommodating, friendly and nice. It felt like being part of a family/community. And the kitchen, very spacious and quite modern. With nice outdoor areas.

Aspectos negativos: The 6 bed dorm I had was next the the reception/communal area, so quite noisy.
