Excellent host and place to rest in Manizales

Aspectos positivos: The location is superb, on a hill side, overlooking the forest. The terraces all have great views, and the large terrace with the large table is fantastic. We had all our meals there, looking into the forest, listening to the animals,... it was a great place! The house is nicely decorated, and there is plenty of space (we are a family of 6). Ricardo was an excellent host, he picked us up, drove us to the property and showed us around. He continuously was checking that everything was ok, very responsive when we asked questions, and he shared contacts for taxis, food delivery, and suggestions about what to do in Manizales. As a bonus, there is a shop nearby, that will deliver what you need at reasonable prices. We had a great time at Ricardo's house!

Aspectos negativos: The property is in the outskirts of Manizales. It's in a natural reserve, with magnificent views of the forest. If you take a taxi in Manizales, they will take you to the property without any issues. However, if you need a taxi to pick you up from the property it's slightly more complicated. We always managed to order a taxi (through an app, Taxia), but it tool 15-30 min to get it. The rest was always really easy. And the location was great!

Beautiful place in a gorgeous location

Aspectos positivos: A beautiful place in a gorgeous location, easy to reach and in close proximity to city and countryside. Ricardo and Tatá are the best hosts you can imagine, and the house is a true gem with a special atmosphere.

Aspectos negativos: A few overly excited dogs and music-loving neighbors reminded us that Colombia as a country is not exactly a quiet place, but that's the only thing we can think of. We loved it there!
