Nora's Casa de familia Laureles

Aspectos positivos: Lovely host family, they me a nice breakfast every morning for us (ask for the green tea with pineapple), very quiet area and great location close to Laurelles

Aspectos negativos: The sofa bed was on the firmer side

Aspectos positivos: Friendly hosts speaking both Spanish and English. They helped us with taxis understanding the cabel cars and metro while advising good places to eat. The shower was hot and the beds comfy.

Aspectos positivos: Nice little homestay with lovely hosts who make you feel welcome. Location is quiet & suburban 5-10min walk to restaurants & shopping mall. Perfect if you want to experience a different side of Medellin.

Nice authentic homestay in Laureles

Aspectos positivos: We really liked the personal attention of Scott and Nora. They were really accommodating, served us coffee upon arrival and we had nice chats! The place is located in a lovely and quiet residential area in Laureles.

Aspectos negativos: Our room was just painted, which is great ofcourse, but the smell of the paint was still a bit strong.

A perfect place to stay in Medellin and great value.

Aspectos positivos: William is American and his wife Nora is Colombian. They were both very friendly and made us feel at home. The location is perfect and very safe and only a 10 minute walk to some great restaurants in Laureles. William recommended one which we went to. Generally used an Uber to get around which was perfect.

Aspectos negativos: The accommodation was basic but absolutely fine and good value to money in such a good area. They are now providing a separate private kitchen and lounge area for the accommodation which would be a good addition if you wanted to stay longer and do some cooking.

Aspectos positivos: Nora and his husband, Scott, are amazing. Nora with a very warm welcoming and hospitality, and Scott, with perfect care to solve any issues to make your stay more pleasant. They both invited me to their Christmass church mass in English, and I went with them and had fantastic Christmass prayer along with many other english speaking people.

Safe area to stay, close to public transport and comfortable room.

Aspectos positivos: We loved our stay , highly recommend. We had an ensuite with hot shower. Scott and Nora were really nice hosts and helpful with anything we needed. Less than 20 min walk to main restaurants and centre of laureles

Aspectos positivos: Cómo familia nos encantó la excelente atención de los anfitriones, la limpieza, el buen trato , los consejos para trasladarnos a las diferentes lugares turísticos y sobretodo el rico desayuno. Gracias por todo ☺️

Aspectos positivos: Le petit déjeuner copieux et excellent, l'emplacement, la gentillesse des hôtes.

Aspectos negativos: Ce n' est pas un appartement entier on n'a pas accès à la cuisine et la machine à laver est payante. La famille y vit et l'isolation phonique est faible. Une des 2 chambres n'a pas de fenêtre et donne sur la buanderie. Il a fallu payer en liquide ce qui n'était pas prévu.
