A delicious heaven in the countryside

Aspectos positivos: We upgraded to a cabana and were so glad we did - the sense of space and peace was amazing. The food is outstanding quality, from the amuse bouche, to the fresh ingredients used from the gardens. The rum tasting was a fabulous experience, delivered expertly with humour, ease and in which I learnt so much - thank you Fabian.

Aspectos negativos: Altitude plays a part in moving around the resort with ease - that's nothing to do with the hotel, just a nod to being aware that you could get puffy where usually walking is easy!

Ambient and serene

Aspectos positivos: By far the best place I've ever stayed. We woke up too late to get breakfast, but dinner the night before was phenomenal. Definitely worth a look if you want to treat your loved one.

Aspectos negativos: The drive was long on a dirt road, it's in a rural area. The Uber driver got really upset.

Aspectos positivos: The view was amazing, surrounded by nature, thought was given to every detail of the room decorations and comfort, the food was splendid best I had in my stay in Antioquia. The staff were knowledgeable about the mission of the project. Fabian took us on an amazing and memorable hike to El Peñol. Memorable experience highly recommended.

Aspectos negativos: It’s a long distance to drive on open road to get to the hotel. Worth the trip though.

Amazing!

Aspectos positivos: Very quiet and peaceful, great for resting and having some time for yourself. The food is really good, and it’s so quiet that you get to have an amazing night. The welcome cocktail is out of this world… I had like 5!

Peaceful getaway with exceptional hospitality and cuisine

Aspectos positivos: Cannua lodge is located in a magical, lush forest area in the outskirts of Medellin. Waking up every morning to the sounds of birds and going to bed each night to the sounds of frogs was truly special. They are building something special here that brings together ecology and the local community.

Aspectos negativos: The location with the wonderful views, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful — I’d give the 6 stars if I could! The food is out of this world good. A Michelle star chef created menu and it really delivers. Such a delightful surprise! The best meals we are on this trip were at Cannua.
