Aspectos positivos: The cabins are new and very modern. Comfortable beds. Heated pool. The property is very idyllic and has so much charm with horses, cows, and roosters around. Although the rooster has misunderstood the usual wakeup hours (he thinks it is at 3:30 a.m.), it still was lovely to be so remotely surrounded by lovely landscapes. The family who owns the place is the most lovely people I met in a long time! They treat you like family and always are there to help out with anything 🙏🏽 I highly recommend this place, I know for sure I will be back.

Amazing experience with the best staff and activities.

Aspectos positivos: Just got home from an amazing stay at Volare. Pedro and Ledi were super kind and helpful during our stay and gave us the best attention possible. We met Juanma the owner and he is a great person as well full of recommendations for your stay. The place is stunning. Good Location, cozy cabins, delicious food and plenty of activities to do. It is impossible to get bored. Thank you for 3 amazing days, we were super happy to spend our holidays at Volare. We’ll be coming back soon.

Peaceful few days in nature

Aspectos positivos: The hotel is in a beautiful place and the huts are lovely and comfortable. The staff where so lovely and helpful in every way. The person who cooked for us was really kind and a good cook.

Aspectos negativos: Because the water levels are low, boat transport to town drops you off at a port about 10minutes out of Guatape by car. You need to get an additional taxi to get to Guatape. The lake is no longer navigable after 6pm so you can’t easily go out for dinner. You have to have dinner at the hotel.

One day I hope to return to the hostel as the staff were so welcoming and catered to all my needs! A true paradise

Aspectos positivos: Incredible experience just in front of the lake and surrounding by nature. The places is stunning beautiful and the staff very friendly. Rooms are comfortable and cleaned.

Aspectos positivos: A friendly, laid back atmosphere. The heated pool is where tourists mingle and have a friendly chat on weekend evenings. Perfect for practicing your Spanish, English, German or French.

Magical experience in the nature of Guatape

Aspectos positivos: This was a truly magical experience. The hut we booked was located on a separate grass field about 5 minutes away from the hotel. This made it a bit isolated in the evening, but if you're fine with staying in the hut all evening, then you're in for a treat. The view over the lake and listening to the animals and mature during the evening was a truly amazing experience. The pool is also really great! Camilo was a great host going out of his way to make sure we were having a good time. Thanks a lot!
