Great place to stay

Aspectos positivos: Nice fresh breakfast, great terrace & great people.

Aspectos positivos: We took an apartment with private bathroom and kitchen in the hostel. The rooms really clean and confortable. Except for the sofa.

Aspectos negativos: The apartment is signed for 5 people. There are 2 double bed and a sofa. Unfortunaly the sofa is really small and unconfortable, absolutely not suitable for sleeping.

Nice hostel, but Wi-Fi could be better

Aspectos positivos: We stayed here for 3 nights. Friendly staff, clean room, and a good location. The terrace is a great socializing area, and the neighborhood is quiet with bars and restaurants nearby. They kindly let us leave our luggage in the morning before check-in so we could go out and explore.

Aspectos negativos: The Wi-Fi only worked at the reception only.

Aspectos positivos: Really cosy place, perfectly chill neighborhood instead of the central Pablado. And it was a size of the hostel which made it easy to meet others

Aspectos negativos: Rooms are rather small for 8 people to have their luggage, and the kitchen is equally small considering the amount of people using it - also not very well equipped

Really feels like a family!

Aspectos positivos: I have been staying at this place for over 5 weeks now and the name of this hostel really does justice to it, it feels like a little family. The staff are incredibly friendly, special shoutout to Lise during night shifts with whom I can have conversations for hours and Hilda for the cleanliness of the place. Hilda always does more than her best to make sure that the hostel remains spotless! Hilda also has been super kind to cook for us sometimes. This kind of attention from the staff is what makes me extend again and again! Also, this place is in Manila, which is probably the nicest and quietest area of El Poblado, walking distance from all the main attractions of El Poblado and the metro is about 10 mins by walk. A lot of nice cafés and restaurants nearby and the Viajero hostel is literally next door, so you can go to the parties at Viajero and have a nice quiet sleep at La Familia! 😀

Aspectos negativos: I would have given this place 10/10 if it wasn't for the Wi-Fi that's quite bad unfortunately. I have been using my data most of the time since the Wi-Fi almost never works for me. They have a new TV room with a smart TV which is super cool, but unfortunately because of the Wi-Fi, watching a movie is almost impossible. Regardless, I love this place!

Aspectos positivos: It was generally clean, good shower, relatively quiet for sleep. You could walk from the main party places in Poblado at night and it’s safe.

Aspectos negativos: I had to return used towel before they would give me a new one, like it’s a big deal. 7% of charge when paying by bank card is wild.

Aspectos negativos: - the 6 bed dorm is a bit tiny (not so much air or space), but i still slept well:-) i would still recommend it ;)

Aspectos negativos: Just there is not a lot of space in the dorm for the bag of everybody so a bit difficult to move
