An amazing place for adventurous tourists and nature lovers, the access is challenging but worthy.

Aspectos positivos: We loved Everything, the landscape, the service, the view, the food, the accommodations, the place is amazing.

Aspectos negativos: Nothing.

Amazingly beautiful and special place to stay.

Aspectos positivos: Unique place, a little hard to reach but the views and sense of peace, surrounded by greenery, make it well worth getting there. We found a very warm welcome and helpfulness throughout. The buildings are unusual, beautiful and special.

Great stay for active travellers and nature lovers!

Aspectos positivos: The ecolodge was lovely; kind staff, the rooms big an spacious, comfortable bed, cute dog and cats, different breakfast every morning. Definitely do the full-day excursion to Melcocho river with Daniel organised through the lodge, that was a highlight. The first day, we hiked up to the lodge from Cocorna for about an hour. The days after we took (cheap) rides up and down the hill (it's then a 10 minute walk to the lodge). We enjoy being active and the motorcycle-taxi's were exciting to take. The extra effort of the location is worth the views and lovely lodge. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Aspectos negativos: We recommend having some more clearer information about hiking trails (also in english), that guests can do without a guide.

The most magical place in Colombia

Aspectos positivos: This place is magical. A truly amazing eco hotel up a mountain, with a spectacular view. I stayed for 11 days and didn't want to leave. Here you are completely close to nature, far away from everything. You only hear the animals and the wind. The people are so lovely, they do everything for you and make delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms are beautiful, you have a big terrace and you wake up with beautiful views. The fact that you have to walk up the mountain to get there, for me, gives an extra feeling of being away from everything. If you likebeing in nature and really relax for some days, this is absolutely your place.

Aspectos negativos: That I had to go back home.

Aspectos positivos: The views and surrounding landscapes were completely breathtaking, and the gardens and accomodations were beautiful too. The atmosphere of the place was really friendly, with kind folks working there, and lots of sweet-natured dogs and cats around. The breakfasts were lovely, and the food was really fresh and healthy.

Aspectos negativos: The soundproofing between the rooms could be improved - I could hear every word and action(!) of my neighbours, which made it hard to sleep on my final night. When there were no other guests it was extremely peaceful however! I loved hearing the frogs at night, and the birds at dawn.

Idyllische plek om helemaal te onthaasten

Aspectos positivos: Het ecohotel was echt op een prachtige plek gelegen. Ongelooflijk mooie zonsondergangen. En of ik nu voor mijn kamer op mijn terras zat, in mijn eigen hangstoel of bij het ontbijtplekje, het uitzicht is mind blowing! Heerlijk om met de dieren te knuffelen en Osa de hond offerde zich een paar keer op een paar uur met mij naar de waterval beneden te lopen. Heel leuk en avontuurlijk. De kamer (ik had de 2-persoons) was heel mooi en liefdevol ingericht. De yogashala, waar ik prachtig kon mediteren, ook echt wauw, heb daar van een massage en yoga genoten. Maar minstens zo bijzonder was de aandacht die Lorena en Karsten gaven, het stel vrijwilligers die de boel helemaal bestierden. Naast heel gezellig kwam mij helemaal niet te kort, ik voelde mij zo verwend!

Aspectos negativos: Ik kreeg gelukkig hulp met het omhoog sjouwen van mijn koffer. De tocht omhoog is echt wel heel uitdagend, maar de koffer kan eventueel met paard en wagen via een wat langer pad omhoog. Verder hoor je in de kamer alle geluiden van de buren en soms ook van de yogashala door de bamboewanden heen.

Aspectos negativos: El trayecto para subir es un poco tedioso, recomendable ir con los guías que te recomiendan
