Very comfortable, stylish boutique hotel - would recommend!

Aspectos positivos: Very comfortable, stylish boutique hotel in a quiet neighbourhood that felt safe and yet was close to the metro and within easy reach of everything Medellin has to offer. The staff were absolutely lovely and the breakfast was great. Our room was very nice, with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. We would recommend Casa Medallo!

Aspectos negativos: No window but we knew this when booking the room. Prices were a bit confusing online because the taxes are mentioned seperatly. When we arrived we asked to have our laundry done but the girl working there told us we had to wait till the next day because her shift was done. The next day it was luckily done and my clothes were clean and smelled nice 🤗. More fruit with the breakfast would be perfect.

Wonderful stay in Medellin

Aspectos positivos: Very comfortable beds, extremely clean, well decorated and kind staff. The owner was very nice, responsive and helped us with all of our queries. The property was in a nice area which felt safe, it was a bit outside of el poblado. The breakfast was really nice with a few options. Great value for money and we slept extremely well with modern tv and air conditioning. Would definitely stay again!

Aspectos negativos: The location is a bit out of the way so you need to get uber to central locations

Authentic Colombian experience. Amazing property and welcoming staff.

Aspectos positivos: Casa Medallo offers a truly authentic Colombian experience, more akin to staying in a welcoming home than a conventional hotel - exactly what I was looking for. The property is tastefully designed and exceeded my expectations in every way. What stood out most was the warm and attentive staff, who made me feel genuinely welcome and were patient with my limited Spanish. The neighbourhood felt very safe and is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the EAFIT campus. Communication throughout was excellent and straightforward. Highly recommended.
