A little authentic jewel in guatape

Aspectos positivos: The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to escape the city centre. It is easily reachable by the local tuktuk in 10min. We even walked by foot to reach La piedra from the hotel. The staff of El Trebol was really amazing, super accomodating, reactive and friendly, making us feel at home. The views are spectacular and you can do paddle or kayaking from the hotel. The gardener is making the hotel garden look really pretty We loved the breakfast being served at our cabin and the breakfast wrap is delicious. I highly recommend staying there if you want to avoid the big hotels.

Aspectos negativos: There is quite a lot of activity on the lake with loud music in the afternoon and lots of jet ski which was really surprising to us but nothing to do with the hotel. It is just how Guatape is. It stops quite early at night so there s absolutely no trouble from 8pm

A brilliant place to stay

Aspectos positivos: Lovely and quiet in a nice location with brilliant views of the lake. Breakfast is great. The hosts are always on hand to answer question and help arrange activities. The internet worked well for a rural location.

Aspectos positivos: Beautiful caravan equipped with every comfort. Wonderful view of La Piedra del Peñol. Hammock and private bicycle. Very good breakfast. 15min Tuk-tuk from city center, perfect spot for a retreat in the nature.

An amazing place and certainly worth spending time to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Aspectos positivos: Amazing location with beautiful view on the lake and El Penol. Very quiet and relaxing surroundings. Staff is amazing and very helpful. We loved the fact that the place is not crowded with extra cottages but that it was kept spacious and with respect for nature. It is maybe a bit further away from Guatape (for restaurants etc), but it is so easy with a 5 min drive with Tuk Tuk (18.000 COP) that it is no problem at all and the place certainly makes up for it. Also check out time of 1pm is very convenient.

Aspectos negativos: Maybe the beds need replacement: very small and matrass not so comfortable.

Aspectos positivos: A gorgeous property with beautiful surroundings for a calm and enjoyable stay. The cabin was very nice with all the elements needed. The breakfast was really good with quality food. The staff was very helpful.

Uniquely beautiful!

Aspectos positivos: We liked the location and service the most. It is unique place by the lake, very quiet and peaceful. It is beautiful and well-maintained. And the caretaker, Cery was especially helpful in every way. The breakfast was perfect too.

Aspectos positivos: Charming! Really gently staff, tasty breakfast, good location & so beautiful landscape! Perfect to jump into the water! In love of the place!

Aspectos negativos: Would be helpful thicker window curtains, the light comes at 6am and you cannot sleep anymore! Bad wifi signal!
