Comfortable stay but a few minor issues

Aspectos positivos: A nice quieter location across the bridge from the main town of Guatapé (but only 10-15 minutes walk). Staff let us check in 30 mins early and there is a late check out time of 12 noon. The shower has hot water. The bed was comfortable and our room was spacious. There is a lounge area which is nice to sit in, but unfortunately there weren't other guests when we stayed. The whole place was very clean. Really good value for money.

Aspectos negativos: The WiFi is very poor (in our room anyway). There is a construction site next door which begins at 07:30 each morning. The windows rattle (I think because of the wind). The construction will be temporary and the WiFi worked in other areas of the accommodation so this is relatively minor. Would still highly recommend.

Aspectos positivos: Nice staying with nice staff. We managed to have a vegan breakfast. The hostel has beautiful common areas

Great place to stay on your visit to Guatape

Aspectos positivos: The main house is a nicely decorated traditional house with a terrace and communal area. I was staying in a modern new building next store that looked brand new. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely laid out. The value for money is exceptional. The staff were extremely welcoming and helped organize taxis and provided information on the town.

Aspectos negativos: The hostel is located on the other side of a bridge. Its not a long walk but I felt a little exposed when walking there at night. Of course I could have just taken a taxi. The impression I got was that I was staying in the old traditional building but you should understand that you could be in the new area. Thats not a problem because it is nice anyway.

Our stay was good and I would recommend this place

Aspectos positivos: The location was ok To the city you walk aprox 15 until 20 minutes to the city Or you take a Tuc Tuc Taxi for aprox 5000 Col Pesos The place is quiet if the neighbor not switch on the television on 7 o‘clock in the morning🥲

Aspectos negativos: Unfortunately they fix right now the street in front of the House If its Rain you get a lot of mud

Recommended for a stay away from the town but close enough to walk in.

Aspectos positivos: Lovely main building and common areas. Room very modern and comfortable but no natural light. Lovely and helpful staff. Breakfast very nice (but very, very slow!). 10 minutes walk into town. Recommended for a comfortable stay away from the centre.

Aspectos positivos: Little story time: the day we left Oak Tree House to head to Medellin (2.5h by bus) I happened to forget my beloved little panda stuffed animal. Marcela (❤️) went out of her way to make sure the little panda reached the bus terminal on Medellin on the next day for me to pick it up. She also lovingly communicated with us on WhatsApp throughout it. Thank you Marcela, you are the best, you make this place special! Muchas gracias!
