Aspectos positivos: Room was clean, spacious and comfortable with a desk, wardrobe and bed side tables. Host was lovely, helped us book a tour for guatape and helped quickly with anything we needed.

Aspectos negativos: Shower rack needed to be cleaned, but it was my fault for not mentioning it to the host

Cosy and basic Guesthouse in a quiet neighbourhood

Aspectos positivos: Basic but cosy guesthouse in a quiet street. It had everything we needed for a very fair price. It was clean and the host was happy to help us with everything.

Aspectos negativos: When we were there there was a construction site right next to the building, which was noisy in the morning, but normally it is a very quiet street

Aspectos positivos: My partner and I spent a total of nine nights at Casa Clandestina and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is in excellent condition—well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Roel, the owner who lives on the third floor, was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Casa Clandestina is the perfect choice if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing base in a more built-up area. Despite being centrally located and close to everything in Manila, the street is quiet, and we slept soundly every night. Thank you so much for everything, Roel! We truly appreciated your hospitality.

Very good hostel and friendly owner

Aspectos positivos: Guest house super comfortable and well equipped. We had the room with the sofa bed and slept well on both. The room and bathroom were clean, air-conditioned and we slept very well! The communal areas are clean and the kitchen is fully equipped. The manager is super friendly and available, and we were able to drop off our luggage during the day without any problems. He also gave us advice on our next destination and on Medellin. Very good stay

Great quiet base to explore Medellin from

Aspectos positivos: Great location, super quiet, perfect space for when you need some sleep/some time to yourself but still want to explore Medellin (I’d just flown into Colombia and was jet lagged and exhausted). Also the owner was super helpful with recommendations and logistical info and the communal areas were nice

Aspectos negativos: Wasn’t very sociable. I purposefully went for somewhere quiet and i was only there for one full day so I wasn’t too bothered about this, but it would have been nice to have some more opportunities to meet others in the hostel

Aspectos positivos: I really recommend staying at Casa Clandestina if you’re visiting Medellín. The location is perfect as it’s in a cozy and safe neighborhood with plenty of bars, restaurants, and cafes nearby. The owner, Roel, is super friendly and always willing to help out if you have any questions or need tips for getting around. I’ll stay here again when I’m back in Medellín!

Aspectos positivos: It was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome—super friendly and attentive. The location is unbeatable, barrio Manila, making it easy to explore everything. The house itself is stunning, with unique and artistic decor throughout, giving it a one-of-a-kind vibe. The atmosphere is both cozy and inspiring. If you're looking for a place with character, comfort, and an amazing host, Casa Clandestina is the spot! We only stayed one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely coming back!

Aspectos positivos: Good location, clean room, confortable bed. Very nuce terrace. Also has a well-equiped shared kitchen. Fast laudry service.

Aspectos negativos: A lot of wooden boxes around the room. They take space and aren't very practical to use since things fall between the wooden pieces they're made of.
