Nice for chilling when the weather is good
Aspectos positivos: It's very beautiful and big. Lots of common areas, also places to sit when it's raining. Room is very clean as well as the bathroom. Really nice shower
Aspectos negativos: If the weather is good and you want to chill, then it's fine. Otherwise, there is nothing to do in the area. You really have to take a taxi to go somewhere. Not even shops around.

Aspectos positivos: Beautiful location, with a great pool area. The staff is very nice and helpfull. Felipe helped me out a lot.

Has a lot of potential
Aspectos positivos: Dorm- and restaurant-wise it's your typical Viajero, you know what to expect. Beds are clean and comfy, food at the restaurant is decent. It's settled in a beautiful area and they offer a lot of activities (can't rate them as I didn't participate).
Aspectos negativos: Apart from the location being a bit far off Guatapé itself and the Wifi being on and off, what I really struggle to understand is why they're blasting the whole common area (hence the pool area with all the sunchairs) with reggaeton music all afternoon so loudly that probably even your old deaf grandparents living on the other side of the lake could hear it 😅 Honestly Viajero, WHY? The place is so beautiful and would be such a relaxing spot - still the only place you can relax during the day is your bed or the co-working area and even there it was still very hearable. I booked it specifically to chill out a bit and would have extended one more night if it wasn't for the afternoon pool party (that hardly anyone seems to attend, so not even great to socialize in my opinion). But who knows, maybe I'm just old 🤷🏻♀️

Aspectos positivos: The private rooms were big, clean with a modern luxurious bathroom. The bar and restaurant have a great selection, and there are many areas to relax in. Fun activities, like jet skiing and kayaking available!
Aspectos negativos: Not much to complain about. There is a jacuzzi however it wasn’t very hot, just warm.

A place with something magical.
Aspectos positivos: Everything was wonderful, the party was amazing, and the space overall was very comfortable.
Aspectos negativos: The only thing I can say is that in the large rooms with a jacuzzi, where we stayed, I think there is enough space to have two bathrooms. Since there are two bedrooms, it would be great if each had its own private bathroom.

More of a Lakeside Club than a youth hostel. Excellent base for visiting the Guatape area.
Aspectos positivos: Beautiful views, nice pool/bar. We stayed in a chalet-style room with a jacuzzi. Super!
Aspectos negativos: The lakeside swimming area could be improved - better entry/exit would be appreciated. There were so many people the night of our stay that the bar was a bit overwhelmed. Had to wait 15 minutes to order drinks. But that's a minor issue, the drinks were excellent!

Aspectos positivos: The views are absolutely stunning. The pool is clean and the jacuzzi is to die for. They offer many activities such as SUP and kayaking. The bar and the restaurant is great. Big thanks to Tatiana for making my stay as pleasant as it was.
Aspectos negativos: Not very vegan friendly but otherwise good but pricey food. Keep in mind that the hostel is around 20 minutes away by car from the mountain and the city Guatapé. They don´t offer any transportation and uber doesn´t work very well. They can call a taxi for you for 50 000 pesos one way so it's quite pricey. If your main reason to come is to see the city and the stone then I would recommend choosing a different accomodation

Aspectos positivos: Amazing new Viajero directy next to the lake but a bit outside of Guatape, you have Caro there who helps you with everything you need and passionate yoga classes by Andrea every morning

Exceptional find would highly recommend
Aspectos positivos: This place is incredible! Such a beautiful and amazing location right next to the lake with infinity pool Jacuzzi bar, loads of activities to do on the lake included. Felipe and Alejandra were absolutely amazing, accommodating very professional staff on the Reception any excursions and tours. I would highly recommend staying at this place. It's listed as a hostel, but it's closer to a four star hotel. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return.
