Aspectos positivos: I think this is my favourite hotel in Colombia so far. Aesthetically, beautiful. The view from the windows out over the mountains. Helpful, kind staff and zero drama! The bathroom was beautiful.

Aspectos positivos: The different patios, terrasses, each bedroom nicely decorated with subtile decorations and colours, the view

Aspectos negativos: Breakfast was good but wish we had more sweet options. Very local though

Beautifully located, spotlessly clean, and incredibly welcoming – a perfect stay.

Aspectos positivos: This is a beautiful hotel perfectly situated – close enough to the main park for convenience, yet wonderfully quiet and removed from the usual motorbike noise. The hotel is in an old colonial house which was a highlith. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The reception team was both efficient and super friendly, making for a delightful stay.

Aspectos positivos: We had an excellent stay. It’s a beautiful property, our bed was so soft, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The jacuzzi at night was an added bonus- just note that you’ll have to reserve it an hour ahead so it has time to warm up. Would stay again next time in Jerico

Beautiful hotel with great staff/owners

Aspectos positivos: It’s a beautiful place, with great staff/owners (helped us enormously with our transport to salento, super friendly lady taking care pf breakfast). Ideal location and cheap for the value of the (big) room you get. Can only recommend, would go again if we went to Jerico again.

Extremely charming.

Aspectos positivos: Extremely charming. Suite was big and high roof. 4 minutes walk from the park. Very nice staff. Helpfull. Easy check in and entrance. Ok breakfast. Very clean room. Did not have air condition, but no need. Good price.

Aspectos negativos: We did not have wifi. Not sure why. Maybe because of heavy rain. Lacked some sound proofening. 🤫🤭

Aspectos positivos: A beautiful courtyard hotel hiding behind a colourful door. The breakfast was good, served looking out over the countryside. We loved our night at El Despertar Hotel.

Aspectos negativos: We had no hot water in the shower but it was quickly sorted out.

Great option for a good and relaxing stay in Jericó

Aspectos positivos: Comfortable bed, quiet space and traditional decorations. Breakfast was well served.

Magical!!!

Aspectos positivos: The place is beyond magical (it felt like being in the Colombian version of Darjeeling Limited by Wes Anderson). Great style and beautiful details, unique character and so fitting for the heritage town of Jericó. It looks even better than in the pictures. The view was breathtaking!

Aspectos negativos: The staff were wonderful, but it would have been nice to have someone there who speaks a little bit of English to get a local’s insights in Jericó and what to do there in the limited time we had. Also the hot water was not always working properly, but that’s to be expected in antique / historical buildings.
