Aspectos positivos: What is not to like as you enter through the iron gates into the cobblestone court yard, you instantly feel relaxed. The bedrooms are spacious and comfy and the views are breathtaking, if you like avocado trees and rolling hillsides covered in coffee. Cecelia the manager is super friendly and although she speaks little English and I speak no Spanish we could easily communicate with a some google translate help and my basic Spanish words. Breakfast daily from 8am is the best way to start your day and the chef happily knocks up delicious fresh coffee, the most amazing tasting bananas, mango, papaya followed by freshly made arepa, local sausage and cheese. The place is a little out from the town centre, I had a car so was a quick easy drive (probably a 20 minute walk or 5 minute tuk tuk taxi) but the peaceful sanctuary ticked all the boxes for a relaxing stay with a touch of luxury.

Aspectos positivos: This place is incredible! One of my favourite stays in Colombia. It was so peaceful and tranquil and the staff were incredible and so thoughtful, eg, offering breakfast outside when the sun came out. The views are stunning from the rooms and breakfast/ living area. I did the coffee tour and paragliding recommended and loved both! They ordered a tuk tuk when I needed to get to town with my luggage, otherwise I walked there and back each day and evening and it was around 20 / 25 mins but not a dull walk as life is happening around you: beautiful scenery with music playing and I felt safe as a female solo traveller.
Aspectos negativos: All was good. Water is not offered which I thought could be added, especially as you can get lots of sustainable options now.

Beautiful rural setting with great views and breakfast
Aspectos positivos: Great breakfast and beautiful setting. Staff all very helpful too. Spanish knowledge really helpful here and in the town in general. Room was very nice and spacious. Great view from the shower too!
Aspectos negativos: Part of its charm is the location but this is about a 20 minute walk into town or 5/10 minute taxi back. Usually there are plenty of taxis in the main square and they have a fixed fare to the hotel 8,000 pesos or 10,000 at night. Worth getting a taxi number as one evening we had to wait quite a while to find one to take us back

Wonderful Countryside Gem, Easy Tuk-Tuk Ride to Jericó
Aspectos positivos: The staff was exceptional. They took care of our breakfasts, called our taxis, arranged tours, all with a warm and welcoming smile. They really where lovely.
Aspectos negativos: Hot showers where good--no problem with hot water at all, but where a little unusual to operate--the less you turn the knob the hotter it is, the more the colder, which confused some of us. Also, the bikes highlighted in the description, only one works. Not sure that I would have used them but it might disappoint those who might.

Best option in Jericó.
Aspectos positivos: It is very well located. It is on the town outskirts out of loud just 5 min away by car. The view from our room (9) was magnificent. Breakfast is very good, not fancy but very good to start the day: chocolate, cornbread, eggs, sausage, fruit and orange juice---Staff very friendy
Aspectos negativos: Does not apply to this hotel. Was not a single detail or issue to complain

Oasis of calm just 20 mins from town.
Aspectos positivos: Breakfast served on the terrace. Serene atmosphere. VERY local bar just 2 minutes walk. Town just 20 mins walk or 10 mins Tuk-Tuk. The town is very interesting especially at the weekends.
Aspectos negativos: The road there is a little rough even though it is paved. Nothing else!

Nice and cozy hotel outside the town
Aspectos positivos: Staff was so kind and helpful. We loved the welcome glass of wine. Breakfast was very good. The place was cozy and charming. We also like the outdoor chairs with the bonfire.

The perfect hotel!
Aspectos positivos: We spent two days and absolutely loved our stay! The hotel is lovely, full of nice details and great mountain views. The best was the attention of Natalia, she was very nice and helpful with everything! We would have loved to stay longer in Jerico, resting in Casa Santamaría.

Aspectos positivos: Beautiful hotel with a wonderful garden and a breathtaking view! Every evening the staff would lit a fire bowl in the garden where we would sit and chat with other guests. The rooms were spacious and were tastefully decorated and furnished. The hotel is approximately a 20-25 mins walk from the main square, which wasn't a problem for us, we enjoyed the walks, on our way to the center we would meet laughibg school children, pass by and greeting elderly woman sitting outside on a bench and cowboys riding their horses or motorbikes! In the town center you'll find plenty of tuk tuks that can take you back to the hotel or pick you up if you don't feel like walking😉 (approx. 500 Cop for one way)
