Aspectos positivos: Cheap but comfortable room. Happily hosted us after we had to relocate from VIP Rosales around the corner which was horrendous. Mandela was great in comparison!

Clean, functional hotel to lay my head

Aspectos positivos: The staff were lovely, very warm and helpful although only Jose on reception can speak English. All the staff were super helpful with ordering food for me as I couldn't get the Rappi app to work. Maria also was helpful with a bit of translating. My room was small but pretty well equipped. The shower was fine with hot water and towels are provided. Coffee was available most of the day free of charge. There is no bar but they have a well stocked fridge of beers and soft drinks.

Aspectos negativos: The location was a bit far out, but my bad as I should have researched it better. It's a taxi ride out of Poblado. The room was small with few hooks to hang stuff, the hooks that there were, were over the mirror. The lighting in my room wasn't great, just a light bulb above the bed and I could have done with side lamps to provide more light. There was a fan attached to the wall but because it was so high up, I couldn't reach to direct it to where I needed - it looked like the position was fixed anyway. The car park is located at the back of reception, but cars have to drive through the reception to get there which was a bit off putting considering you eat in reception. It had more of a hostel feel than a hotel.
