Aspectos negativos: The Nutty is a Grande Old Dame in need of a major remodel that is probably not cost effective to do. I've stayed in a least 20 different rooms of every type including the Presedential Suite. You won't find one \

Probably on of the best choices to stay in Medellin, if you like old style charming hotels !

Aspectos positivos: The location is perfect - downtowm Medellin with 2 minutes walk to the Metro Station. The rooms are quite big and very comfortable.

Aspectos positivos: Location was very good and the history of the hotel was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked well and a treat on the hot days.

Aspectos negativos: Breakfast was nice but not much variety. One choice of fruit, 1 cereal or scrambled or boiled eggs with toast or mini croissants or mini bun. Coffee and juices.

Aspectos positivos: Friendly, helpful professional staff. The location, just perfect for all my needs. One minute walk across the plaza to Parque Berio metro station for easy access to the whole of Medellín. Superb views across Plaza Botero & across the city to the surrounding mountains. The cafe terrace overlooking plaza botero. Large top floor room with terrace.

Aspectos negativos: I was already aware of this but many of the furnishings & fittings have likely remained almost untouched since the hotel's inception in the 1940s! A few more home comforts might have been nice but I appreciated it's historical charm.

Aspectos positivos: Location is precise but the ambience around were not so easy Room were big, kingsize bed very spacey room good tv cool air condition, bathroom and little small, not adequate for 2 person to shower together, i am an person who loves to shower with huge water stream cold/hot in balance breakfast amazingly service

Aspectos negativos: To be Honest, this Hotel is an Monumental ( historical ) Hotel, need some little investment to be Shiney and Top of the Line and try to keep some of the homeless an little distance from this Hotel location

Aspectos positivos: The hotel was clean, staff was very helpful and everything worked properly.

Aspectos negativos: The zone where the hotel is located became one of the worst ones to be in Medellin. If you are not careful you can be robbed. The hotel looks like it was a premium hotel but frozen in time, like 80's style. But it was comfortable, clean and everything was working properly. It is recommended to leave and get to the hotel by taxi or uber, especially in the night. There is a subway station pretty close but it can even be dangerous to get there. The hotel itself is a 10/10 by my criteria but if safety is important for you or cannot afford Uber for every ride you should consider another option.
