Aspectos positivos: Very comfortable. The most comfortable bed in of our travels in Colombia! Great shower. Very nice area to relax in. The hotel was super helpful in finding us an excellent guide and transport to see the area and arranged our transfer to Medellin. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay at La Estancia!

Aspectos positivos: First thing, hats off to Victor, the receptionist. If it hadn't been for him I would not have been able to see as much of the surrounding valleys as I did. It turned out we shared a passion for the outdoors and went hiking three days to different destinations, all without charging me a single penny. Very generous and very much apprectated. The staff were friendly and hospitable, Johnny in particular was great, always smiling and laughing and also very corteous. The place itself is beyond description. Rustic, charming and very beautiful old building. I'm sure it has (friendly) ghosts, too! The breakfast was decent, I only missed fruit. All in all a great stay in a great place with very friendly and welcoming people.

Aspectos negativos: The only thing I missed was a spring coiled mattress for my old and broken back. Even so I slept well. It's a quiet place and I wasn't troubled by any noise at all.

Good, cosy hotel, but make sure to get a room that smells nice!

Aspectos positivos: Nice colonial hotel with a good atmosphere. Good location near the town square. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Aspectos negativos: Unfortunately one of the three rooms (named Heliconia) we had rented smelled of sewage! We noticed it when going to bed and thought the smell would go away. It didn't. In hindsight we should have asked for another room. Also, there are no parking.

Aspectos positivos: Historic building 80 meters from the main square of the magnificent Salamina pueblo. Room a little small and dark but the house is made that way. Wooden floor, everything clean, good breakfast, excellent staff. I recommend it.

Affordable, Quiet and luxurious stay.

Aspectos positivos: The La Estancia is a beautiful traditional building located close to the main plaza. The rooms are decorated with period furniture and are clean. The beds are comfortable and open up into a main courtyard area where there are comfortable chairs and the breakfast area. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. They can help you organise visits to places and recommend good places to eat. This was one of the best hotels I stayed at on my trip.

Aspectos negativos: Not much. Salamina does not have much of a tourist infrastructure so you have to plan forward in what you need to do. For example, I wanted to visit a local Hacienda however when I checked on the day I there were no places available.

Aspectos positivos: Fantastic hotel! Beautiful clean room equipped with a good mattress and high-quality bed linen. All members of staff were super friendly and went out of there way to make sure I had a great time.

Aspectos positivos: We loved our stay at La Estancia. Doña Alva h Doña Patricia were lovely, they helped us with everything! The hotel is beautiful and it’s located right next to the main square. Highly recommended
