Aspectos positivos: The hotel is beautiful, very well located and with an excellent breakfast.
Aspectos negativos: I understand that New Year’s Eve is a busy time, but the communication with the hotel was very poor before arrival. I tried to communicate through booking, the WhatsApp number and calling to reception, none of them where responsive. This is not acceptable from a high end hotel.

When you get to the hotel it is like entering a little paradise. The pool was never full.
Aspectos positivos: Breakfast was varied with delicious juices and friendly waiters. We had 3 breakfasts and by then it was a bit repetitive but It was wonderful to sit under the tropical trees and hear the birds.
Aspectos negativos: better, more modern bathrooms with reliable hot water.

Beautiful but not sound proof!
Aspectos positivos: The property is super beautiful and well located. The staff are also really nice and go out of their way to help you. The breakfast was hearty and we really enjoyed lounging by the pool during the warm daytimes.
Aspectos negativos: There is a large price difference between the week days and the weekend. The weekend price we paid unfortunately does not match the quality of the room. There is no fridge, hot water, or safe. The walls are thin and the room is located just outside the restaurant. Although the staff are very good about people leaving promptly at closing time, it was not possible to go to bed before 11pm or nap during the day due to the noise. I guess it's kind of unavoidable in such a beautiful old colonial building, but just a heads up if you're looking for peace and quiet before 11pm.

One of the Bedt breakfasts we’ve ever had!
Aspectos positivos: The location was perfect, colonial style facility was amazing and the waiting staff and chef were both flawless
Aspectos negativos: We found the male receptionist to come across as quite arrogant and unwelcoming and if it wasn’t for the exceptional service provided by all the other staff and the absolutely amazing Hotel, would have been enough to spoil our experience.

El Alma Boutique Hotel in Santa Fe, Antioquia, Colombia
Aspectos positivos: Excellent location and staff was friendly and the service was very good. It appeared they had a full time chef and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this small 8 room botique hotel.
Aspectos negativos: All good and nothing was out of order. Check-in and Check-out was simple and fast. I really can't think of anything that was bad or anything I did not like about this hotel.

Very nice hotel in a historical building in Santa Fe old city centre
Aspectos positivos: The hotel is really nice, located in the historical city centre of Santa Fe de Antioquia, waling distance from the main square and close to all attractions, restaurants and bars. It is an historical building with a nice patio. The room we stayed was nicely decorated and comfortable.
Aspectos negativos: Even if it looks nice, having an outdoor bathroom is not a nice idea, as in Santa Fe the climate is hot and humid, so it was not really comfortable.

Aspectos positivos: La calidad de atencion de todos los empleados y la calidad de la comida, exceltente
Aspectos negativos: Creo que pueden mejorar mucho el area de la piscina, hay demasiadas materos que no se necesitan, el sonido en la piscina esta localizado en una esquina con un volumen muy alto, creo que deben hacer un estudio de sonido y reubicar el parlante. Por seguridad las sillas asoleadoras estan al borde de la piscina y esto puede ocasionar accidentes, creo que pueden mejorar el espacio bjando el piso que hay a la entrada de la piscina y en el lado opuesto en vez de colocar asoladoras, reubicar las mesas de tal manera que exista buen espacio para que la gente pueda cominar y evitar accidentes. Y donde estan las mesas colocar las asoladoras. La idea es que la gente puede moverse libremente sin el riesgo de accidentes. hay que hacer una buena reingenieria de los espacios pensando en el bienetar de los huspedes
