Authentic experience with a great host

Aspectos positivos: Casa las tias it’s a small hostel with few rooms, located in a quiet area close to the center but very peaceful.The hostel is very simple, so it doesn’t offer the services that a large hostel might have (tours, breakfast, bar), but beds are confortable and you can sleep as There are no noise from the street. The best part of this Place is the owner: Daniel was a point of reference during my stay in Medellín. Kind and available, he helped me in every way, and I am truly grateful for his exceptional willingness. Absolutely recommended for solo female travelers and for those who don’t want to stay in the Poblado but prefer a less touristy but equally safe experience. Thank you, Danil, for your kindness!

Aspectos negativos: the property is very basic but for me it wasn’t a problem; I appreciated the atmosphere, and I would return to this hostel without any doubt.

Aspectos negativos: It's a bit far from the metro station about 20 minute walk. And shower wasn't very warm but didn't expect too much for the price

Aspectos positivos: Daniel was a wonderful, kind and insightful host. We had interesting sociological conversations right away and he went above and beyond when it came to providing tips and making the stay as smooth and pleasant as possible. The house has charm and is in a quiet area with a few stores to get supplies close by. As a solo-female traveler I cannot stress enough how grateful I am to Denis for being a safe and respectful host. Muchas gracias ! L.

Aspectos positivos: Daniel's a great host—super helpful and always there if you need anything. The location is perfect. You're right between El Poblado (where all the parties are) and the tourist center. It's just a short Uber ride to either.

Aspectos negativos: The house is a little old-school and could use a refresh, but don't let that stop you - it's a solid deal for what you pay.

Aspectos positivos: It’s got such a beautiful rustic feel and the host Daniel was so friendly. He gave loads of recommendations and clearly wanted me to feel comfortable in his home. The room had a double bed, wardrobe, window, bedside table. It’s not a nosy area and the room or at least mine was quiet.

Aspectos negativos: Wifi wasn’t the best in my room

La casa es un verdadero jardín, donde se siente inmediatamente el cariño de los dueños por el lugar y sus huéspedes.
