Comfortable in a good location, but beware

Aspectos positivos: Comfy bed. Good location at reasonable price. Helpful staff.

Aspectos negativos: Got off to a bad start as the room type ( double with terrace) wasn’t available due to a system error. It was late evening and the night manager ‘upgraded’ me to a suite until it could be sorted next day. Unfortunately the suite ( room 11) had very unstable internet which kept cutting out, which also meant TV streaming didn’t work. The night manager tried hard to fix it, to no avail. The light in the bathroom also kept switching off, mid-shower. When I tried to go to bed I found the sheets were dirty and stained. The night manager changed them but it meant I got to sleep very late. I was woken at 6am by my neighbour accessing their room using the door keypad which chirrups and says ‘welcome home’. It was NOT welcome for me. (Why have ‘talking’ keypads at all when the sound insulation is so poor?) I suggest avoiding room 11. All was sorted out the next day, but I had to wait until 11am to be moved which wasted a big chunk of my 2 day stay in the city. This was a really bad first impression and nothing was really said or done by way of apology from the overall management team. Don’t know if it’s policy or an oversight but my room was not cleaned during my stay.

Pleasant hotel in Provenza-Poblado

Aspectos positivos: Friendly and helpful staff, great location, well maintained facilities, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom

Aspectos negativos: Rooms can be warm sometimes. Wifi connection was poor. Hot water worked almost perfectly, but I had problems with it during the last morning I stayed at the hotel

Nice place, but be careful about the communication

Aspectos positivos: Nice location, quiet neighborhood but close to good cafés and restaurants. Room isolation is very good so you are not bothered by other travelers.

Aspectos negativos: The communication is not very smooth. They say they have breakfast and spa but these are actually other businesses outside of the hotel, so it caused confusion (the breakfast was pretty OK). The receptionist was not very responsible for arranging tours. We registered for a Guatapé day tour which was from the receptionist flyers. When we registered, the receptionist said the guide spoke English (that's why we decided to register) , but on the day of departure when the guide picked us up, the guide did not speak any English but only used Google Translate. It caused a lot of inconveniences - if I would have known this were a pure Spanish tour, I would go for a different travel agency instead of wasting the time. The receptionist is 100% responsible for this.

Aspectos positivos: Amazing location with just a short walk to the bars and restaurants 👌 Really friendly staff and the room was exceptionally clean with everything you need. I highly recommend staying there and will definitely be returning ☺️

Super nice place in a quiet street

Aspectos positivos: This place is super new and overall really really lovely. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the room was nicely decorated and quiet. Shower was strong with good water pressure and location was perfect.

Aspectos positivos: The helpfull staff The location was far from the noise in El Poblado. Breakfast was ok, and included. The room looks great with enough shelves and hangers. The bed was very comfortable, despite the pillow being a bit too thick for my taste.

Aspectos negativos: The room has tinted windows but no curtains. It can be bright in the morning. There is no aircon in the room, which is fine if you ask for a fan. The mirror is not directly infront of the sink which makes shaving challenging. A light would be great above the sink as this area is quite dark.

Great Boutique Hotel on the Edge of Town

Aspectos positivos: Really nice layout to the rooms, great privacy and location just on the edge of town away from the madness. Really comfortable bed and modern appliances - huge TV, modern shower, nice lighting. Breakfast provided at the cafe around the corner was very decent, with good coffee. Staff were very welcoming!

Aspectos negativos: Wifi was slightly patchy at times so we had to switch it off for much of the trip. Might be to do with the room's distance from the router, but can hopefully be sorted out. No other negatives really!

Comfortable and affordable stay in peaceful area near Provenza

Aspectos positivos: The rooms are spacious and tasteful with nice lighting (I really liked the dim light under the bed that turns on when you step out of bed), staff is very friendly, bathroom is clean and modern. Huge, comfy bed and a large screen TV ideal for movie night if you want a change from the Provenza bars & restaurants.

Aspectos negativos: The bathroom had a big window in the shower, and there were construction workers behind the hotel that could look inside. There was no blind or hatch available. Breakfast is in a restaurant down the street, some of the options were very basic (2 fried eggs with a piece of bread).

10/10 hotel, I will be back! A must for all solo travellers

Aspectos positivos: Stunning property, in the perfect location. Just 5 mins tucked away from the hustle and bussle of Provenza, you’re in a lovely quiet street enjoying the tranquil, tropical landscape! The rooms are huge and the decor is super stylish. Best bed I’ve slept in, in all my travels - you will have a perfect night’s sleep here. The room is furnished impeccably, I really cannot fault it and I LOVE the modern, spacious bathroom! The staff are wonderful and so accommodating, they made me feel so welcome and comfortable during my stay :)

Aspectos negativos: - A mirror in the main bedroom (and not just bathroom) would’ve been great. - Since there’s plenty of space for it, I wish there was a chair or small table in the room, so there’s more space to put things down
