The Somos Flats Provenza

Lovely apartment with an excellent location in El Poblado.

Aspectos positivos: Excellent location, right next to Provenza which is like the trendy part of Medellin full of bars and restaurants and a lively night scene. The flat was very well equipped, the staff was supportive on everything we needed.

Aspectos negativos: It does get a bit noisy in the evenings. You can hear the music from nearby restaurants. Not too loud we were still able to rest, but If noise and a busy night life is an issue for you, this is probably not the right part of town for your stay.

Aspectos positivos: The accommodation is centrally located in Provenza .When I arrived early I was well looked after by the staff who arranged for the room to be cleaned .The accommodation is large and contained all the facilities needed for my stay.

Aspectos negativos: There was a party taking place in one of the rooms during the weekend

Aspectos positivos: despite not having a front desk, there is a service team willing to help you with any issue, the room was clean and well equiped

Aspectos negativos: if you have issues to sleep in a noisi place, you better look for other locations, its near to bars and restaurants, which is nice in terms of moving arround, but can get noisy at night if you are not into the nightlife

Aspectos positivos: Central location, Spacious bedroom, Good quality furniture

Aspectos negativos: Cramped bathroom, Kitchen light not working, Cleaning quality is very poor (pls invest in good vacuum cleaner, mops, and cleaning products), the staff are lovely but need to be trained on how to clean the rooms. Our floor was so dirty and sticky upon check in. And even after asking them to clean it, it was even worse than before.

Aspectos positivos: Loved the interiors, comfiest bed with a duvet, tv with Netflix, Disney + etc… most of all in the perfect location in the heart of the poblado.

Aspectos negativos: It can be a little noisy at night but this is expected in the area!

We had a fantastic stay at the apartment and it’s been our favourite out of all the places we’ve stayed in Colombia so f

Aspectos positivos: It was a good size. The bed was very big and comfortable. The room was clean upon arrival and complimentary tea and coffee had been left for us. The appliances in the flat all worked well. The location was great as it was right in the centre of El Poblado so it was easy to explore the area without needing transport.

Aspectos negativos: The noise from the bars downstairs was quite loud, although this was to be expected given the location. It wasn’t an issue with the property, but is something to keep in mind if you aren’t someone who can deal with noise.

Aspectos positivos: Cool small flats bang in the middle of town. Would stay there again 😃

Aspectos positivos: We stayed in the Somos flat and it was perfect for 2. Really spacious bedroom area and bathroom. The Somos hotel is not far away and they have a 24hr reception. The staff there are super helpful and helped us with paying & check in when we arrived at 1am after a stressful bus journey. They even gave us a free beer! The Somos hotel also has an amazing roof top bar - having visited a few of the others we actually thought it had the best views! The flat was also very quiet, totally sound proofed & in a great location. A/c also worked well. We definitely recommend.

Aspectos positivos: well located (if you want to be in el poblado) comfortable, good shower pressure, good utlitities and space.

Aspectos negativos: the club next door was very present when you’re trying to sleep.
