Probably wouldn’t go back

Aspectos positivos: It is beautiful, the views are lovely and the rooms are really nice. Food was great.

Aspectos negativos: It’s quite remote so it costs a fair bit to get there and back, and takes a while. The constant WhatsApp communication from reception felt too much, like they didn’t want to talk to you, just only on WhatsApp. They didn’t seem to want people in the restaurant, only in the rooms. It would have been good to have an explanation of the place on arrival - there were different bars and areas but it was hard to understand what they were and when they were open.

Aspectos positivos: Stunning spot overlooking the lake & with views of El Piedra in the distance. Staff could not have been more helpful; every one in the team wanted to ensure we had the best experience. Delivery of food to the cabin was super, allowing us to relax on our deck & appreciate the setting. Easy to get into Guatape via tuk tuk, recommend as an experience!

Aspectos negativos: The evening food dishes were better than the breakfasts, but there were good choices including vegetarian options.

Aspectos positivos: Great location and cool architecture. Peaceful in a busy spot. Amazing views. Very good food and plenty of vegan/vegetarian options

Beautiful, private & tranquil immersion in nature to calm the senses

Aspectos positivos: This is a great hotel if you're looking to be immersed in nature and have a bit of quiet time with your family or partner. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the outside jacuzzi is perfect for unwinding in as the sun goes down and the nature around you comes to life! The food was basic but tasty. And we really enjoyed going down to the pontoon/ lake and renting the kayaks, swimming in the water and having a little bask in the sun! The staff were all really lovely and the beautiful dogs were just an added bonus!

Aspectos negativos: Everything was great. Our jacuzzi was broken the first night but was fixed immediately the next day. The food is basic but tasty, and sometimes that's just what you need! The bathroom isn't full separated from the bedroom, which is worth being aware of, but wasn't a problem for us. It is quite hilly, but again, that's fine if you don't have mobility issues and is all part of the fun.

Very nice location

Aspectos positivos: Beautiful location with great views and nice secluded rooms. The kayaking that is included in the room fee is a nice way to explore the surroundings.

Aspectos negativos: The food is overpriced. Staff was friendly but definitely not professionally trained. Party boats passing by during the day and at night can be a disturbance.

Aspectos positivos: The location is stunning - private cabins overlooking the lake. Loved the jacuzzi and nightly bonfires. Restaurant food was also good. Staff were very helpful and organised tuktuks into town for us

Peaceful place to reconnect with nature

Aspectos positivos: Beautiful cabin up in the hills. Very peaceful with unbelievable views. The staff were very friendly, the food was great, and it was a lovely place to reconnect with nature. Loved that they bring wood to your room for a bonfire in the evening, and going out to kayak in the lakes.

Aspectos negativos: Nothing it was great!

Aspectos positivos: Beautiful private cabins with an uninterrupted view of the water - so peaceful. The staff were also so lovely and helpful with everything, including organising transport for us. Accessible via whatsapp which helped a little as my Spanish skills are not too good. We loved getting our dinner brought down to us and a bonfire on our deck each night. Also the paddleboarding was a lot of fun. Everything was lovely! Would 100% recommend and stay here again! Friendly pet dogs at reception also a plus.

Aspectos negativos: Some powerpoints in the property were not working. The showers were difficult to get to a good temperature. No air con was not a problem, except when we first arrived in the afternoon the cabin had been sitting closed up before we got there and was roasting hot! But cools down quickly. The road in on the peninsula to the property is unsealed which we didn't realise and the tuktuk ride in was very bumpy, so would recommend a car/taxi.
