Aspectos positivos: It was a long time since I stayed in a place like this. Magic. Cozy. Full of trees and plants. The rooms are big with lots of wood and raw natural materials. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and you get illimited coffee and tea all day long. It is a magic place. The staff is kind and very helpful The area is good. Very close to restaurants bars. 10 minutes walk and you have the Poblado Metro Station. It is okish to walk at night alone.

Great place to stay in the most lively area of Medellin. Staff extremely friendly.

Lovely place and wonderful staff!

Aspectos positivos: It was a very pleasant stay. It is so rare to get such a level of hospitality as we did get in Refugio del Jaguar. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. They gave us many recommendations and lent us metro card for the duration of our stay. The common area is very charming and cozy! When we had to check out early morning we also got a take away breakfast. The only challenge might be that there are no windows but they let you know upfront and for a 2-3 nights stay it shouldn't be an issue for you.

Aspectos negativos: Breakfast was very good, they offer a day special. Would be un upgrade if they offered more than one option, but even so it was lovely.

Aspectos positivos: The staff has been amazing, especially Danny I have not met such a customer friendly staff member who goes above and beyond to ensure you are having a good stay, with an enthusiasm that I have not see before. The place is also great and you feel like in the jungle

Aspectos negativos: There were two issues during my stay: 1 a tour to comuna 13 booked through the hotel was double the price of other members of that group. I know tours are not in the hotel package but since they offer it I was not expecting this. During one of the days there was an issue with the hotel water system which led me to shower with a bucket and be late for a meeting with friends. Since this is more in the hotel control and responsibility I was expecting a compensation which was not offered

Exceptional service, great comfort, and excellent value for money

Aspectos positivos: Absolutely outstanding stay! I’ve rarely experienced such warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly service — always with a personal touch and a kind word. All of our special requests, like breakfast to go, were happily accommodated. On our last day, because of our very early flight, this was even prepared for us without us having to ask. The room was excellent: cleaned daily, with fresh towels and quality toiletries. The noise level was perfectly fine for El Poblado — with the hostel’s earplugs, I didn’t hear a thing. Fantastic value for money. Highly recommended!
