Great stay, would recommend

Aspectos positivos: Lovely hotel, small so quite personal, and beautiful rooms. Bed was comfy, breakfast was great, and location was close walk to some great restaurants, maybe 15mins to the metro. I initially found one of my windows kept dropping open but I spoke with reception and they fixed it immediately so think this assistance was great.

Aspectos negativos: Bathroom doors are sliding barn doors which don't stay shut - not really an issue when solo but maybe not ideal when sharing.

Aspectos positivos: This hotel was in the perfect location in the El Poblado district-It was in the more 'chilled' part of El Poblado and we loved the spot, felt very safe in the neighbourhood, it was a very photogenic spot and had a few great restaurants, bars and shops right on the doorstep, easy walk to the metro for us to get about. The guy working at front desk very kindly gave us his metro card to use as well :-) The room itself was fine- water hot, bed GIANT and very comfy, the windows are not in any way double glazed or even really fitted well which was fine to us but if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. We liked that we could open a window and let in a breeze.

Aspectos negativos: unfortunately the wifi was almost non-existent which is a major negative- they NEED to sort their wifi off and I think this would put off people searching for hotels- you want good wifi- when you arrive in a city and want to plan your trip/ check google maps/ book excursions etc- its a real downside not having working wifi. We told them it wasn't working and it seemed to work briefly, but I mostly used my esim which I had paid for so I had data - lucky I had this because being on a city break with no wifi is not ideal

Nice Hotel

Aspectos positivos: The breakfast, although it was a standdard (egg, Arepa, fruit,juice,coffee) breakfast. The fact that the hotel is walkable to the night activities and restaurants are nearby. The staff was helpfull although they do not speak english

Aspectos negativos: You pay 5% extra when pay with credit card. I had booked a extra night and the let me pay seprately( so 10% charge)

Great location in El Poblado

Aspectos positivos: Nice clean room with a comfortable bed, great location to bars, restaurants and a big supermarket in El Poblado. Close also to Poblado metro station. Staff were friendly and breakfast was nice and fresh. Felt safe in and around the hotel.

Aspectos negativos: Kitchen was small and staff didn't put away any of the washed crockery which made it difficult if you wanted to use it yourself. Needed earplugs as there was a dj playing music next door which was very loud one of the nights we were there (Thursday night). We had then so wasn't too much of a problem.

Aspectos positivos: Nice hotel to stay in Medellin. It's located in a quiet neighborhood. A lot of coffee, restaurant are around. Nice design of room and common space. Friendly staff!

Aspectos negativos: The room and bathroom are divided by a simple furniture door, whiche don't block smells and sounds from the toilet. It's a problem when you are not alone.

Overall it was a lovely stay, but the noise was a disappointment sadly.

Aspectos positivos: The receptionist and cleaning women were very friendly and accommodating. Use of cooking facilities.

Aspectos negativos: The noise level. One morning we were woke up to loud music blaring and another morning we were woke up to a large group of people chatting loudly at 7am right outside our door

Spacious, clean, comfy. Expensive because you are paying to be in Poblado.

Aspectos positivos: The bed was huge and comfy and everything was very clean.

Aspectos negativos: As with most places in Poblado, it’s overpriced. Stay in Laureles instead! Unless you’re desperate for a party - in which case stay in a cheaper party hostel. The vibe doesn’t match the location - the hotel is relaxed and laid back and El Poblado is in your face and hectic.

Nice little hotel in Poblado, just far enough from the noise!

Aspectos positivos: We were greeted by Camilo, the most friendly and dedicated person we have ever met at a hotel. Lilian, who prepared us a lovely breakfast every morning, was friendly, kind, and always had a ready smile. Many of our fellow language students had issues at their lodging that the noise of the busy Poblado neighborhood made sleep difficult. This was NOT the case for us. Even though the walls are thin, and the rooms small, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and our room was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the patio just outside the door, where we were able to read under the shade of the umbrella, or early in the day with the shade of the adjacent wall.

Aspectos negativos: I worry that the fixtures of this hotel will not stand the test of time. The faucet handle was (almost) broken, one of the bathroom shelves was starting to come out of the wall. The room is tiny, but with some careful unpacking, we found room to hang up or put away all of our clothes for the week.

If you want something small, cozy and good this is your place.

Aspectos positivos: Staff very polite. Great look for a small hotel. Good place far from noise despite being a crowded place.

Aspectos negativos: Same breakfast everyday
