Nice apartment in convenient area

Aspectos positivos: The apartment was great, very spacious and had everything we needed for our 3 nights stay. The washing machine was very appreciated. The area is safe and very convenient with a nice supermarket across the street and the Oviedo shopping centre 5 minutes away. Would definitely stay there again if we return.

Aspectos negativos: The kitchen furniture was a bit dated and the windows do not provide sound insulation (like the majority if buildings in the city), however the background noise was not very disturbing. The breakfast was also quite average, but it had the basics.

Palatial apartment as close to the centre of things as you could want

Aspectos positivos: This is a very generously sized apartment with its own washer/dryer (x2 washing tablets were provided) in a great location. Really good breakfast.

Aspectos negativos: Nothing except for maybe missing the personal touch of a host.

A lovely apartment with everything you need

Aspectos positivos: The property had a lovely apartment with full cooking facilities and a washing machine & dryer - Very very clean - Across the road from a supermarket and some eateries - Some nice restaurants 20 minutes away

Aspectos negativos: Although staff were lovely it would have been helpful if they spoke a bit of English and if the contract was translated into English

Overall a great stay. We would stay there again without any hesitation.

Aspectos positivos: Brilliant location. Very clean and spacious. Eliana and her team are very responsive and helpful to all queries and ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible. The bed in the main bedroom had an extra mattress topper which was very comfortable. Juliana in the breakfast room was super efficient and attentive.

Aspectos positivos: We have been there twice, the room was very confortable and clean with a real kitchen and even a washing machine. I cannot think of a better ratio quality price, specially if you are travelling with the family. During our stay my daughter was a bit sick, the hotel manager was extremelly helpfull in helping us find a doctor, I am very grateful for such dedication and professionalism.

Stay at Alcázar de Oviedo

Aspectos positivos: Very accommodating to our requests. When I noticed the room did not have the sofa bed as was booked, they rectified it right away. They also provided a fan when we asked as the main living area of the room is not air conditioned. Cleaning services were exceptional. Our room was freshly fixed every day.

Aspectos negativos: Main mattress is a bit hard. Oven mitts are needed for the kitchen. The breakfast selection was very limited. We were there for 2 weeks and the fruit selection never changed. Scrambled eggs were super runny.

Aspectos positivos: The staff was very kind and attentive and made sure to fix any issues we may have had during our stay

Aspectos negativos: Nothing. There were some issues with the AC but like I stated, they made sure to accomodate and fix the necessity according to our needs even giving us a complementary coupon to one of their restaurants to mend any discomfort or issues we may have had.

Great hotel in lovely location

Aspectos positivos: We loved the space in the apartment and it had incredible views across the city. We had the one bedroom apartment which came with a sofa bed and two bathrooms (a bathroom each was a treat!). The staff made up with sofa bed with a mattress and bedding when we arrived. There is a full kitchen and washing machine which we found very useful. It’s in a great location - right next to two big shopping malls with lots of restaurants and a great grocery store directly across the street. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Poblado Park but it’s a lovely walk along a leafy, shaded street with lots of cafes and restaurants along the way. We found it to be great value for money.

Aspectos negativos: It would have been better to have another aircon unit in the living room area rather than just a fan. Breakfast was very basic and if there were a lot of people in the dining room then the food ran out quickly. The ladies would bring out about 3 pancakes at a time which would be gone in seconds. Also the hot food was always meat - even the eggs and the plantains had meat in them. It would be nice to have an option with no meat for vegetarians or just to have an extra dish and separate them.
